With pre-70 fiberglass bags you drill a small hole through the front of the cover clip and after it's install on the bag bottom you insert a small "bobby pin" as their called in the trades. It's easy to lift the back of the lid to put something in the bag without pulling out the bobby pin all the time. Locate one of the proper keys to lock the back latch and it should b fine. The key is a very small sheetmetal item and has a -62 part number. I can't get to mine right at the moment but when I do I'll post the key number and maker. their on the key. If you keep the latches lubed and their in good working order they work well. Hope this helps. V-twin might make replacements if I remember correctly but buyer beware.

        Thanks for the fitment ideas.
Appreciate the supplier suggestion, but I will hold out until I find an original.
