  • Ignition Coil: Replacing high tension wires

Bought an old used OEM Ignition Coil for my 1949 Panhead. The high tension wires are missing, so i have to install new ones.
How does i have to prepare the wire ends for proper connection in the coil ?
Bruce Palmer III described it in his book (page 401) "bevel the end of the wire which is to be fitted into the coil ..."
    What does he mean exactly?
