  • 1957 FLH Ignition Switch

Does someone know if the correct ignition switch for my 57 panhead
should have #s around the switch hole or should it be plain?
    Thank You

Palmers book says plain. No pins, no numbers.

Are you asking if it should have numbers around the keyhole?

1947 was the last year for key numbers on the cylnder. 48 up had the neck lock and the switch cylinder was not pined. Any key will turn it. It wasn't till the late sixties? or early seventys? Maybe when they put the padlock thingy on the lower triple tree (Rob could tell ya dead on) That they started pinning the cylinders again. Bob L

The pinned and numbered switches started up again in mid 1963.
