1937 Clutch

Hi.
Has anyone got a exploded view drawing of the early clutch "1936 to 1940" that they could send me in a email.
I have an original 1951 parts manual but it does not cover the early clutch.
I just bought what I thought was a complete clutch on ebay. But there is a part on ebay that is not in the parts I have.

Your exploded view drawing has clarified that I need part 2547-36, - 2461-36, - 2461-36A, - and 2461-36B. Any one have any of these for sale?
Does your drawing say how many ball bearings are in each row in the clutch hub?

Hi. Also looks like I have 3 of 2481-38 instead of 2 of these and one 2481-36.
I have heard that people used to change these early clutches in some way for better operation.
Would taking out plate 2481-36 and substituting it for the thicker plate 2481-38 make it operate better.... and does it still fit under the narrow primary with out fouling on the derby cover.

Steve, you can run the 41 to 84 clutch in the narrow primary by removing a plate or 2 and shorten the studs, works great much better than the 36 - 40 clutch, Larry

I've spent the money and have a complete early clutch, so I'm commited to get it working.
But I will keep that in mind if it gives me too much grief.

Steve,
Get a copy of the blue shop dope, it lists all of the 4 bolt clutches and tells the upgrades. Set it up like the last series clutch that came out in 38 and you will be good to go. I did this to my original paint 37 and it works very well.

I have those books, but never think to look in them.
Every part of this clutch is in very nice condition.
I will just have to cosy up with the workshop manual, and Shop dope and see what they have to say.
