  • Oil Pump bodies

We are in need of three 1941-1945 Knucklehead oil pump bodies. These are the ones where the housing for the check ball spring gets smaller as it gets close to the main part of the body.

I have something like that in my stash, I'm not sure if it's exactly the same though, it's hard to tell from the picture. If you want I'll e-mail you a picture of it, it's not complete but a lot of it's there.

Chris's picture is actually a 1941 early 1942 pump. Later 1942 and up has the primary oil adjustment screw angling up at 45 degrees instead of horizontal.

Agreed Jerry. That is the only photo I had that showed the check ball spring area. Actually both the '40/'41 and the '42/'45 are needed. I have lots of the later Knuck and Pan bodies.
Here is the other pump body we need.

Along with the straight in screw they need to the check ball & sprong barrell that gets smaller as it meets the body. The pumps where the barrell stays the same size are for 1946'/47.

The ones we are looking for aren't listed in Palmer's.

We need everything we can find. BTW cover plates with damaged nipples are just fine.
