Mounting 18" tires

Bought 18" Firestone tires from Coker .I can not get the raised edge close to rim to be even all the way around the rim.I thnk the raised bead maybe a locator.It is wider on one side than the other. Making it look like tire id not centered on the rim ?

Are you using tire mounting lube? It needs to be able to shift to center itself.

Did you try to massage it with a mallet, Dan?

Sometimes they need discipline.

I always let them warm up on cement in the sun and then use RU-GLYDE.
Everything is getting harder now days.
