And all I can ever afford to do is look.

Nice bike. Description says 98th 1936 "61 OHV" made. But the motor number is 36EL1098. Because motor numbers started with "1000" that actually makes it the 99th one made. I hate to sound pedantic, but even knowledgeable guys think HD motor numbers (pre-1957) started with 1001, when really they started at 1000.Comment

That is a beautiful bike but with early Knuckleheads, you better know what you're looking at, and buy from a trusted seller like Barber. Personally, I think the 1937 - '39 ELs were the better looking Harley-Davidsons. Regardless, buying gorgeous motorcycles would be the sole reason I would want to be filthy rich
