Hola Harley experts, Indian guy here and I’m a knucklehead about Knuckleheads. In my father’s stash is this Knucklehead frame, and I’m looking to find out what year it’s from. This’ll be a couple posts long cause of all the photos. A general overview…

Frame is 1940 and the front end is newer as is the rocker clutch bracket. With all the gorilla work around the neck it is remotely possible to be an early 1941 induced rack frame but with no frame ground tab I doubt it.

              FLFD7,

I believe the front fork bracket to be a late 1939-1940.

So 40 frame and 40 fork, makes sense….

The TC 20 spring fork is later. Without looking in the book I’d guess early to mid 50s servicar.

Rigid fork is welded so no older than 1943/44. Spring fork is earlier maybe correct for 1940. Jerry
