  • 1943 Knuckleheads

There were absolutely zero civilian Knuckleheads sold in 1943. The only ones built went to the US Navy. If you are restoring a '43 for judging it better be a Navy bike.

A friend bought an OP red civilian '43 Knuck in Cali in 1968 from original owner...& he made a chopper out of it.
If you weren't there you can't be sure Chris.HD has no documents from that era sales that I know of.
The blue '44 that I sold had the original title in blue.
I saw the title but his kids burned his papers before contacting me.I knew where he hid it.

My 1943 E with a sidecar was sold new to a veteranian in rural Union City, Tennessee. I am assuming as essential services. Sadly the sidecar was sold separate from the motorcycle prior to me finding it and the motorcycle was restored.
