There were absolutely zero civilian Knuckleheads sold in 1943. The only ones built went to the US Navy. If you are restoring a '43 for judging it better be a Navy bike.

A friend bought an OP red civilian '43 Knuck in Cali in 1968 from original owner...& he made a chopper out of it.
If you weren't there you can't be sure Chris.HD has no documents from that era sales that I know of.
The blue '44 that I sold had the original title in blue.
I saw the title but his kids burned his papers before contacting me.I knew where he hid it.

My 1943 E with a sidecar was sold new to a veteranian in rural Union City, Tennessee. I am assuming as essential services. Sadly the sidecar was sold separate from the motorcycle prior to me finding it and the motorcycle was restored.Originally posted by Chris Haynes View PostThere were absolutely zero civilian Knuckleheads sold in 1943.
