You need to be more specific with your question. Are we talking on the Bay or in your hands? What year Ray are you looking for? Palmer has a ton of info on them, did you start there? Do you have it and can you take pics of it and post?

Lastly, if it looks too good, it probably is a reproduction.

That reply does not answer the question

The differences I see are the guide stamping on the “nose” is deeper and more pronounced. Also the rivets are a little different and the terminal block is also a more black plastic material. The reflector and lamp socket are also different than original. I bought a chrome repop for a little over $100 and installed a colony rivet kit and an original terminal block . I also installed a h4 reflector and a super bright Led lamp and have a very good looking and highly functional chrome headlight for about $200. The first is my repop and the second is my original.

There are several different variations of Cycle Ray headlamps. They were even used on 1941 White military trucks. The repops stand out as being new with crisp edges. They obviously don't show wear, damage, and mixed year parts as originals do.

bobphd - Just curious, you were able to power an LED bulb from a 6 volt generator?

Yes 6 volt 32e converted to 2 brush as per HD instructions and vtronics electronic relay that looks like the stock cutout relay. In my opinion the only way to go for a 6 volt bike that actually gets rode like they should. I get the 6 volt h4s from classic dynamo and regulator conversions in England. They are bright and reach out like a conventional h4. Some of the other 6 volt led lamps I have tryed were bright white but did not reach out far enough. This and leds in the spotlights help to see and try to avoid the numerous deer in my neck of the woods
