My experience with them on a friends bike was that both the cups and cones are too thick causing the overall stack height to be such that the top nut was nearly flush with the top of stem. I had to set them up in the lath and grind seating surfaces on the cups and deeper radius on the centering part of the cones to allow them to stack to factory height. Also, Tedd's cups were not as hard as original, I was able to cut the race with a lathe tool to adjust the above mentioned stack height.DSC05416mp.JPGDSC05417mp.JPG
Just to clarify, the orig race was 64Rc and Tedd's was 41Rc using a Rockwell scale hardness tester.Last edited by BigLakeBob; 05-27-2019, 11:39 AM.Bob Rice #6738
