Yes, you are missing the fact that the numbers started at 1000. So add that to your total.

HI Robbie, thanks for your reply. Maybe you can help me understand this. Combined production in 47 was 11648. So how is it possible to have a legit serial number in the 12xxx. Am I missing something?

That number looks fine, a couple hundred over mine and close to the end of production!
