I am looking for information about the four small holes on the '36 EL Head Cone Top plate. I would like to know what size the holes are. The one pictured was over polished by the plater and the holes are oversized and egg shaped.

Chris, there is a close up of my 36EL1059, that had the org lock plate w/ holes on it. I don't have the link, but if you goggle 1936 knucklehead it will come up, thanks, Larry -

Chris,
Measure the holes all around and come up with your smallest measurement and use the information to find the closest nominal size, I am sure the factory did not use a special size drill for such a trivial part.
