  • '36 EL Head Cone Lock Plate

I am looking for information about the four small holes on the '36 EL Head Cone Top plate. I would like to know what size the holes are. The one pictured was over polished by the plater and the holes are oversized and egg shaped.

Thanks Larry. But that won't give dimensions and hole size.

        Chris,
Measure the holes all around and come up with your smallest measurement and use the information to find the closest nominal size, I am sure the factory did not use a special size drill for such a trivial part.

I am sure those holes were there for a reason. Although no one knows why today. I saw an OP '36 that had the forward two holes in the bars too.
