      Hi Bob.
      Yer on to me.
I'm a little skitish about them. They must have been bead blasted at some time in the past.
They may be original but have the smooth look of a Lost Wax casting.
      I may be wrong.

      Has V-Twin ever sold these?

If I had know that you live in New York I would have tried to look you up. A freind and I flew to NY straight after the Davenport swap and I rekon we stayed pretty close to your nieghbourhood.
      Regards Steve

Steve, you have a PM. By the way, when are you going to reproduce the '36 loops?

36 loops? I can make them. I make the others already. Got a sample or a measured drawing? Do they have an integral saddle where they mount to the front down tubes?

Steve, I know this is a late reply, but I finally figured it out. I sold Walt a set of loops like that a long time ago , I dont know if this is that set but they were made by Jim McLean from London, ont, thanks, Larry

Hi Larry. The older I get, the slower the gears take to mesh.
Thanks for the info. I contacted Walt at the time of the auction and he was straight with me.
Eventually a original set with numbers will come to me and I will use them for measurements for a pattern.
                      Regards Steve
