I have a Peashooter thread buried somewhere here. What I need at the moment is information about early Barrel type racing carbs.
Schebler or any other literature, regarding the AM barrel type racing carbs approx 1920? to 1924. These may have been used 26-27 on S models (they have a small plate screwed on upper surface between air horn and barrel lid [blanking cover # AM2], and also use an "air bend" under bowl, just like # H128 item from model H Schebler. The existence of these carbs is not mentioned in the 1925 Schebler "Service Station"manual) I have dismantled, measured and photographed 1 example of these.
Schebler model number for the H-D JK88K carb. (these carbs were used 1927 model year, on some H-D SA's. I suspect they are 1925-1927 Schebler AMX, but I want proof. I have yet to find anyone who has an example of a 1925-1927 Schebler AMX. The 1925 manual has these, but it gives no detail of H-D racers they were fitted to)
I think I have the 1928-1932? Schebler AMXA fairly covered, I have a 1928 Schebler "Service Station" manual and I have dismantled, measured and photographed 2 examples. Any supplementary documentation would still be appreciated.
Linkert or any other literature regarding, the MRI barrel type racing carbs 1933 only? (1933 CAC only?) Only 1 photo known (poor), no examples known to exist.
Linkert or any other literature regarding, the MR2 barrel type racing carbs 1934 to 1938? (1934 and later SA & CAC) I have dismantled, measured and photographed 1 example of these.
Is there anybody out there, or is it just me?
