  • Unknown seat

    Hi,

My uncle had this seat in his garage; there are no markings but after a search, I “think”, it may be an early ‘40s harley - though I may be dead wrong. At any rate, it’s now in my garage and I don’t need/want it so if you want it then it’s yours for the price of shipping (if you live in the San Francisco, CA area then you can pick it up for free).
    Best,
    Oscar

After looking more carefully, your seat is a Harley Buddy seat. These ribs are curved but on the Indian, they are "Straight as an arrow".

Also note the Indian Chummy seat 'nose' is 'blunter' (less rounded) than the H-D Buddy seat.

Hey Oscar, welcome to the club! I sent you a PM (Private Message, just in case you didn't know) to let you know I might be interested in the seat. Looking forward to seeing your progress on the Indian.
