    Tappet blocks

Question about tappet blocks for a 45WL. I was removing my blocks and I got a little over aggressive, resulting in a chipped off corner. Started searching around for a replacement and I find some people listing them as front or rear. Are my eyes missing a detail? Because all four of them all look the same to me.

If you compare the slot in the bottom where the roller sits to the bolt location you will see that front and rear have different oririentation.

I take it from your post you were prying on the ears, a big NO-NO. There are several types of special tools made to remove them, and heat is highly recommended! And yes, they are front or rear.

Got it! I was looking too hard at the tops to find a difference, to see the bottoms.
So I do need to find a rear.
