  • 45 " rear fender carrier

IMG_2549[1].JPG IMG_2539[1].JPG I have had a rear fender and carrier for decades, and can Not find a carrier like it. The fender was OD green for sure at one point, maybe the carrier too. The carrier is a mix of a WLA and a Civilian . More of a civilian, with an added Blackout light. Factory Civilian light housing with an added bracket for the Blackout. Guys the bracket looks like a HD piece. Riveted to the fender with, period correct rivets, and fits perfectly, setting on the original tail light. A half-moon bottom edge to this bracket, to fit above the original light. I will get pics tomorrow I don't know what this carrier is for. It fits perfectly looks original but different than other civilian carriers. Pic # 2 shows a normal WLA carrier beside the one in question. The third pic shows the lights, a Black-out light over the standard civilian light. That is interesting. IMG_2541[1].JPG

Likely early '41 WLA type. The carrier is notched so the double high taillight can fold into it as the rear of the fender is hinged upward.
