        Thanks Eric. I'd love to say I did it myself but experience has taught me that painting 'aint my thing' so I handed it over to the guy that paints my Uncle's hot rods. I did tell him I wasn't looking for a 'best in show' type paint job but he couldn't help himself....

            Yes, they only know one way to do the job. Which is why they are "good painters" and hard to find.

              Very true. There was a considerable wait time involved for him to fit it in, so I took that as a good sign. And the '34 Ford coupe he did for my Uncle years ago still looks like new so that helped.
