I know diddly-nothing about Mikunis, Jug!

(And don't need to,...) But some of our readers, and Posterity, might benefit from your experience.

After all, weren't you asking for advice from the experienced?

    Ball-peen, or sledge?

Not embarrassed. Old timer said I was on the right track all along but was not aggressive enough. Maybe that is what 47 years away will do. Like you say Cotten enough is enough. End of story.

    You started out, Jug,..

...Asking about three carbs that don't fit your manifold.

getting longer trips up the road after many float adjusts. still same problem. float bowl full and almost to the over flow now. cant get float pin out to see if i have the right needle-seat. any you mikuni guys have the answer to this? looks to easy to break the support by trying to drive it out. is the size marked on the needle-seat? looks like i need vm38/11-3.5. is that correct? this is the kit for the 45 motor. sure will be nice to hear from you guys again. spring is coming. we hope so but as i look out it is snowing here.

    For everything that's given, Jug,...

    Something is taken away.

The MOCO designed Servis to be durable work horses, pulling a lot of weight.
And if you are a big boy, its even more work.

Making a race horse out of a draft animal just means more vet bills.

Cotton, I just like to get out on the highway for fresh air but would like a little more out of it than the MOCO built it for. I am too old to be cop or meter maid but still have a little hotrod left in me. Rear plug is gray and front a very little darker. Last time I checked the manifold for leaks all was good. Will drain some gas for flow for restricted lines and leaky manifold. Any more ideas?

    Sorry I gotta ask, Jug,..

But how much payload do you expect to pull, and just how fast, and for how long?

(Wonder why the MOCO used the little DC2? .. Survival, perhaps?)

Robbie, the cam plans are off for now. Later I hope. Thanks for the dope on the manifolds and carbs. Looking around the internet I did not see much of either one. Would have to get the filter backing and things that go with. Maybe going to a few more swap meets will help.
