The DC and the Tillotson manifolds have different bolt spacing, hence the number change, and both are small inside diameter. The DCs for Sportsters and BTs are larger and will flow more than the DC2 for Servi-Cars. Are you planning on cams? I have used DCs on Big flatheads and Knuckles with good results. The S&S "L" series was a large sized clone of a DC. There are other options as well including the Harley Keihin) CVs as used on Sportsters, Amals, Bings, etc....

forgot to state that been running a 27024-36 three bolt manifold with a Mikuni kit. Runs good through the hole throttle range. Good response all the way but on a 1.2 mile climb it runs out of gas. Idle a little an all is good again. Going to see if I can get the float measurement somewhere. I see the newer 2 bolt manifolds for the other carbs have 2 different numbers. Whats the difference?

Tillotson md, Linkert dc2 or Mikuni vm 34? Just like opinions from all the 45 people. Running a 69 servi with .020 pistons,.100 off of no 5 heads,.021 off cylinder tops,1/8 in over intakes and k model valve springs. Cleaned up intake ports and manifold. Running drag pipes. No cam work yet!!
