  • Springer with a slightly bent rocker mount

Picked up a springer for my Servi-car. I noticed one of the rocker arm mounting tabs on the rear leg is not straight. What would be the best way to tweak it back straight. I was thinking about clamping the tab in a vice and easing it back in alignment with the other with some well placed grunts. My question is would I need to apply heat? Am I over thinking this? It would suck to break it off by not know what I was doing.

It will move very easily with no heat. So easily it will surprise you and make you question their integrity.
