The pistons you buy from Tedd's V-Twin won't fall apart in your cylinders. "Strutted" pistons are probably stronger, but even though I had a piston disintegrate last year, I was askin' for it, and had 13 years of solid service from my motor before I ran the livin' bejesus out of it and killed it, high speed for hours on a hot, August day. Even Tedd's pistons won't let you down; They're good, serviceable pistons.

I suggest you ask T-bone, owner of "Bone-a-Fide Cycles" in N. Pekin, Illinois. What Tom doesn't know about this subject ain't worth knowin'. He wouldn't steer you wrong. He's in the phone book.

ULH pistons are the same as VL ones and I've been using the strutted Taiwanese ones for a long time. The newer ones are made in China and not quite as good.
