  • Servicar primary chain

Servicars take a 96 link primary chain. Can you run a 100 link solo chain on a servi? Why the difference anyway?

    Kevin,
It all depends on what motor sprocket is being used. Servi's normally run a smaller motor sprocket than a solo, thus the shorter chain.

What's your top speed chris? And are you dogging the clutch to the point it's trashing it? I put in a 27 tooth sprocket with a 100 link chain and i had to pull the tranny back so far that i was almost at the end. And then the rear adjusters were maxed out. I'm thinking i need to re-link my drive chain. len
p.s.Didn't mean to hijack the thread. I figured it's good information to know

Top speed is 55 MPH downhill with a tail wind.
I am not sure what dogging it means. I release the clutch and accelerate.
