    I remember my aunt and uncle running a sidecar on a Vespa scooter back in the very early 70's. I was always taught, proper tuneup, clean up the exhaust and carburetion and play with gearing first for more power. Most people will change cams and stroke a machine without ever changing the gearing, makes a powerful motor not suited for it's application.
