aka HAWG , that looks good , I notice you do not have any chain on the pedaling gear , does this mean you have yet to have a ride ?? or have you got it all done by now ?
What size wheels/tyres do you have on ?? my '12 are shod with coker 28 x 2-1/2 which
are terrible things , last only 700 miles (from their meagre buttons to bald) and are not really fit for the road but is there any other make out ther? does anyone know ???
Hope by now that you have had a ride , they are great bikes to give you that smile apeal !! good luck with it , Ken
Also , is the belt leather ? has it got an 'Aligator' join or is it a continuous one ?
            Ken

the bike has not run yet, still need little pieces to complete and get it running.

I have 2 pieces of chain that I need to put together to make 1 long enough

the tires are 28 X 2 3/4 - story was they were on a teens pope back in the late teens, stored tires in the barn hid the bike from mom. when went back later to get the bike it was gone. tires were left in the barn and forgotten about till early 1991 when I purchased from the great grandson

have put the "X" on hold due to rustoring of a 1940 essential use indian chief

see previous list of wanted parts as they are still needed

Hi Hawg, after looking at your X at Wauseon I got a comment......put the chain together, tape up the gas and oil caps, make some gas and oil lines, put a board on for a seat and fire that bike up and ride it! Your a more patient man than me to have that bike and not be riding it while looking for the correct parts. Nice to finally meet you face to face, but you better keep an eye on those guys your hanging out with!

                    thanks for the comment

this winter is the "X" winter, after 20 years in hidding it is time to get it running

come on I've known those guys longer than I've owned the "X", if not for them I would have never even thought of owning a teens bike. other than rick I only see them at the meets and what better rime to sit and dink and talk old times

                    your bikes are great too

see you in the future at some meet
