  • Bent Brass Lever

I recently purchased a throttle and air assembly for my 21 Cleveland and the throttle lever is bent down. Attached is a picture of it and a picture of the way it should be. Any thoughts on how to straighten it, heat or not, press or hammer, any ideas are welcome!

    No heat, Cycarmark!

    Chill brass.

    (No hammer either...)

      Tom,

No heat, gentle pressing, lever is nice and straight now!

      Thanks

        Great Mark!

I'm collecting my brass and bronze work for mid-January,...

Since there seems to be no local source for dry-ice any more.

I guess I did use heat, it was 78 degrees here today!
