Vermillion and Maroon paint codes or matches

Im looking for modern formula or codes for Vermillion and Maroon. Im looking for these to paint my VL. I have two versions of Steve's book and have had difficulty in getting a good formula at a local auto paint store. The Maroon is referenced to Ford Burgundy.......anyone know a model and year that would steer me closer to a formula? Same thing with Vermillion, There is a Dihatsu color referenced, auto paint guy says it was a lacquer formula and can't seem to cross it to modern paint codes. Possibly I need to find another store.
