101 Scout... going to take a while

    • Success! This afternoon I trailered the Scout over to Miles' house, maybe 15 miles away, under the threat of rain.

      It wasn't a first kick start, not even maybe a tenth kick start, but after we figured out some carburetor issues the 101 came to life :

      • I just want to add and give mountains of credit to Miles Mushlin, he poured untold hours and soul into making this motor run...and to hear and feel how smooth it ran, all on initial carburetor settings...just amazing. Thanks Miles!

        And to me , the value in belonging to this club lies in all the knowledge and encouragement that can be gained from those of you who followed along and added bits and pieces of advice and knowledge on this community forum. Thanks to everyone!

                • Harry, your patience has paid off. The bike looks great!! Now how about some video of you riding it through the Vermont countryside? You don't even have to wait for the fall colors.
