  • Cam Chest Spacers

I'm looking for information regarding the cam chest spacers used from 1936-1969 under the gear cover on the timer gear shaft and idler gear shaft.
The part numbers are 25800-36 and 25800-36B
Does anyone have a shop dope/service bulletin they can share regarding this change over?

    Photos of each shown below

    Thank you in advance,

The top one is early. 1936 to sometime in the panhead era and is held in place with a snap ring.
The bottom one is later pan through 1969 and eliminates the snap ring.
