Float Adjustment

Could someone suggest a proper float adjustment when using a Scheb DLX float bowl with the Eliptical float on a 1 1/4" Linkert carb? Thanks!

Factory setting for ALL Deluxe carbs is 7/16

Certainly all bronze bowl DLX's are 7/16",..
but bending a "tin-top" potmetal DLX bowl's lever that low is beyond its limits, and makes the float interfere with the bowlstem.

Have you any literature for the potmetal DLX's up through '39?

(The 1940 DLX literature specifies 1/4", corresponding to their unique Linkert-shaped float. That seems high for the earlier design.)
