I should have pointed that out. Part number matches civilian part.
1947 was an odd wiring,1st year new dash,last year for early coil & the odd position of the speedo light mounted in the dash cover,not the speedo.
Speedo had a hole inside for the light to shine in..[didn't work well]
Palmers book mentions the heat shrink on wire ends starting in '48.
This dash has heat shrink where it meets the Ign. switch. but not the other connections.
