  • Guide Passing Lamps Bent Bolts Fix - 64 FLH

    Hey everyone

Just discovered this on both passing lamp shells

Do you know anyone that can fix these? Or are they fixable in any way?

As i can see the bolt is secured in with tabs

looking forward to your assistance as i got stuck again

Thanks for your feedback in advance

I've found them pretty easy to fix and bend because of the hole in the middle. My method, find a piece of tubing or pipe that fits pretty good on the thread OD. Heat the area where it needs bent and bend away. They don't need to be perfect because of the multiple swivel washer setup. My opinion.

If you straighten them be sure you use all the correct hardware to mount them or they will just bend again, and likely break at the bend.

Thanks Rubone and BigLakeBob for the pointers

Will surely give it a try and hopefully fix both of them

Will also check in the parts catalogue if the hardware i got here are correct.
