Made right here in the USA. in Sully, Iowa. I bought 2 of these 30 years ago, and use them on my lifts. They collapse down to 3.5" and will lift up to 13" (15" on the Universal lift).
The two that I have are still like new. They are pricey, but work like a dream.
    Hope this helps,

Not American but $58 and free shipping. I like the lock pins over the Tedds without.

But do any fit under a Chief, Folks?

          (Or a rigid harley?)

Jack it up so the jack will fit?

Measure first, and spend your money most wisely.

I aint in the shop right now but it says 3.7 inch storage height. I can't remember but I would venture to guess that would fit under my '46 & '47 Chiefs

              "It", Micmac?

Hope it's a ruler in your own hands, with the full weight of the vehicle upon its tires!

(I once saved an extra-wide printer roller, the hard rubber type, and figured I'd weld a cantilever lift where it would rotate to save the bottom of frames.

Its around here somewhere, I'm sure...)

There are issues with rigids with all of these. Some of the cheap ones will break & drop the bike.I have used Tedds for many years on many bikes. I have a low heavy duty truck jack that I raise enough to get a 2x6 under the rear tire before using the flat jack.

I have the Lo-Boy that Handy sells. It goes under a rigid Harley frame fine. It gets a bit angled/canted when it lifts the bike, but I haven't had any problems with it.

Would it still fit after a local dealership insists upon putting low-profile tires on it, J?

(The owner won't call them down on it, even after it suddenly scrapes on loading ramps; I told him handling would suffer too!)

Why can't we get numbers... .. . (even metric).. chopper people need to know!

With the wide variety of frames, tires, forks, etc.,..

Nobody has the courtesy to pull out a ruler?

Now we have another reason why we get no "new blood".

What would you like a measurement of, different bike frame heights or actual lifts' low heights?

                            Obviously, BLB,....

One should know both before investing.

My K & L retracts to 3-5/8”. It’ll go under a rigid Harley but not much to spare. The bike needs to be upright and not on the side stand and will catch on the exhaust clamp through bolt underneath. That’s on a springer, seems like hydraglides have a little more clearance.

Tom, you keep asking, I thought you wanted the dimensions. I would think the owner will known his own bike height, so I don't think we need to post that. As far as the small lift I posted, the description states low height. Hope this helps.
