Maybe the BOD should consider offering 1, 2 and 3 year renewals? I would go for paying for 3 years and sign off that any unused portion is a gift to the AMCA with NO refunds available. 46EL

as everyone can see, if you have ANY problems with your membership or the card. just notify Mark at amca@cornerstonereg.com and they will fix it ASAP
these people go the extra mile to be helpful, BUT they cannot fix something if they don't know there is a problem.

Hi 46EL. The AMCA does currently offer 1, 2 and 3 year renewals. You don't get a price break, but with a 3-year renewal you get a nice plastic membership card (with the Flying Merkel on it).

Cool. Does it have a three year schedule of events on the back too?

Nope. You get a sticker to put on the back for the next two years.

I like the number I have because I have it memorized and at this point in life it would not be possible to remember a new number. I think I need to purge junk that is no longer needed in my brain.

Like the engine number of my 1946 Knuckle I sold 10 years ago.

I got my replacement card today. Still paper but at least has the schedule on the back.

                    Mark,
Be truthful and tell us how much more a plastic card costs to make.

It would appear that Mark no longer comes here as he hasn't answered the question I posted on 1/31/2011.

And with all the complaining I did about getting a Card with an expired date on it I never recieved a replacement?
And even after I was told by him personally that my renewal was updated I recently was told by Rhinebeck Vendor confirmation there still might be a problem with my renewal?
I wonder how many members will arrive at a meet this summer and have problems at the gate with their Membership Cards? 46EL

If I can spend 2 whole days at Rhinebeck searching for stuff I need and maybe selling and or trading some leftover inventory I have no use for to me $50 is a bargain. Considering that my Ebay bill last month for selling was over $500 makes it even more of a bargain. No matter if it is a business or a hobby whoever gets the 50 bucks to me it doesn't matter. I totally understand that the club had to consolidate smaller meets even though I miss that smaller format. Personally I hate change but what can you do about it? Bitching about it does no good just like my expired Membership Card that I paid 30 bucks for? 46EL

To bad they can't have it at a location where the club gets 75% of the door instead of the county.
