Thanks for posting the picture Cory. Picked this up in a frame with a nice 1916 Harley sales brochure along with a 1914 Manitoba motorcycle plate and an original photo of one Barry Brown posted with the Maroon Hockey team and their new excelsior motorcycles. The old fellow always thought this brass item was excelsior, but it looks more car like to me. Any of you Californians recognize this?Ross

Is it a U or is it only E over X. I'm not sure. This is an oddball as over 250 people have looked and no answer. Cory the 1916 Harley brochure is sweet. What I like is, it's stamped Morden Manitoba. Don't think there are any more of those around. We know there was a dealer there and there still is, Rudy Enns runs gaslight and he is an AMCA member and has an awesome panhead collection with flat and knuckleheads too. (all original paint)Ross

I'm guessing Chris is seeing a U on the outside border. I'm not sure what to think....
Very cool about the brochure Ross!! Thanks for the heads up on Gaslight!! Are these bikes on display to the public? If so it sounds as though a stop would be in order the next time I do a "cross-country"!Cory Othen
