What is going on here? I read my post over and over to see where some of you are coming up with you THINK I said and I don’t see it. I didn’t imply anything and I didn’t use innuendo. I said what I said in plain simple English…….
Let’s start with “Now that’s just stupid.” I didn’t call anyone stupid but I certainly know how.
Next “You think its okay to take away a born & breed American citizens’ rights because they don’t look like you.” Racial profiling is based 99% on the physical appearance of an individual. Citizenship status is not tattooed on people’s forehead. So you think it’s okay to randomly pick a non-white individual off the street and deny them the rights they were born with because they fit a racial profile, bull ****.
As far as that trash my thoughts are simple. It’s disgusting; make them clean it up before you send them packing. Give them food no better than they would get in Jail. I don’t approve of what’s going on but I sure as hell don’t have a Nazi mentality that one race is superior than another because that’s what this is really about.
Slojo if your racial profiled every time you go on an airplane than smile and make them feel foolish they had to waste their time on you. If you’re profiled every time you go into court than keep your mug out of there and you’ll be fine. Your right, this is a deep conversation and if you can’t contribute something constructive then stick to motorcycles.
Eric your mom sounds like a fine woman but that has nothing to do with what I’m saying before anyone reads that into what they think I said.
Now in short and believe me if anyone doesn’t understand it this time than YOU ARE STUPID. I’m not sticking up for Illegal Aliens, I don’t know any and I don’t consort with criminals. This IS about the rights of the non-white American citizen to walk down the street without being deemed a criminal or of the criminal type based on their looks.

I have cousins that are 100% Native American. They are always pulled out of line and questioned when returning to the USA from Mexico. That is racial profiling.

For assumption only purposes.....let us assume there is a mass imigration of illegals from...say...England, Russia, any nation which is predominately of the light skinned race. Let us also assume the same crime rates, social program burdens, and the like, such as has been eminating from our southern borders, is also occuring. What I'm saying here, is that it is not just good ol' boy 'mericans who are on this list, and who partake in our passions. Some of these chest pounding posts may be considered offensive to some genuine enthusiasts, who happen to live a bit further away than you & I.

Just trying to get us back on track with motorcycles, and show some international class.

Like your column in the AMCA Magazine, very informative and well written, but I have to take exception with some of your comments here:

No this thread has nothing to do with old bikes etc. this has been dragged around before as to what should be discussed under "Parking Lot Chatter". The fact that this forum is on an website dedicated to Antique Motor Cycles does support your position; but in reality this is the one outlet for basically like minded people to discuss other things (were well rounded sophisticated individuals after all). There are 26 other Forum pages on this website all dedicated to motorcycles in one way or another so to expect "parking lot chatter" to be exclusive to old bikes (and for the most part it is) is not very realistic and flys in the face of the forum's title.

The argument that there are people in other countries that might get offended by this discussion and that "our country's problems are our own" is a little too PC for me, and our country's problems like it or not have a huge impact on the rest of the world (The US represents 30% of the worlds's economy).

International Forum? Yes but in reality it's mostly US, Canada, Western Europe and Australia. Like you I am well travelled especially to the third world parts of the planet: Indonesia, Venezuela, Brazil, Columbia, India, Phillipines....most people there have but one concern and it ain't old bikes, it's getting enough to eat so that they can live another miserable day. I do not ever want to see this country or any other country that has achieved such a high degree of most everything slide into such a dismal situation that would eventually lead to the number one hobby being survival, and that is why I think the topic is relevant.

NO, it's not OK! Where are you getting your info that it is OK to profile in the AZ law? Have you read the law, or just getting your info from Communist News Network? Holy crap you are friggin' ignorant. The state law mimics the federal law to enforce immigration, but does not allow for racial profiling! Problem is, none of the politicos in charge (save for the AZ Gov) will enforce the existing federal law because it will hurt them at the ballot box!

And no, Fred, I don't give a crap what other countries think about us. If it weren't for the USA, most countries would be eating saurkraut or sushi every day, yet they still despise us. Alright, time for a ride in the land where they make me wear a helmet to protect me from myself (and the insurance companies).

I see life must be getting you down a little, well hang in there the best you can. It’s obvious you haven’t read or comprehended what I actually replied too. But let’s forget about that. Instead of blaming the Dems., Republicans, commie’s, or what day of the week it is….. For all the evils in the world. Real or imagined.
