Oscar Lenz was quite a guy and would have had a million authentic stories to tell. He was Mr. Jack Pine for many years. Since I live in jack pine & sand barrens country myself and have a Yamaha XT-500, I can appreciate the tough conditions those early riders endured.
Lenz was also one of first experimenters who "hit the bottle" and "picked up the pipe" c1925 and adapted 21 OHV top end components to make an all-overhead Two-Cam for hillclimbing purposes. This was before H-D had anything in the 45-inch class. I believe that Lenz's Two-Cam/OHV might still exist.
