        I spoke briefly with Dale Walksler in Las Vegas yesterday. He said he has closed the museum and is not planning on moving anywhere else. I hope something good comes of this. Dale's collection is something for the world to enjoy.

            Chris,

            Thanks for the WTT update. Doesn't sound too positive for motorcycle enthusiasts, does it. Hopefully something changes.

            Assume you were at the MidAmerica auction. What was your impression of prices at this years event? Thanks

                was that Dale's original paint 1915 Harley that sold for 169,900? Is he liquidating?

                    There was only one 1915 HD at the auction. It went to $62k.

                        I Think You Are Wrong. Check The Posted Results At The Auction Website. The 1915 Sold For 160,000 Plus Fees = 169,600

                            Sorry, you are correct. I was looking at the 2008 results! I have a buddy that was at the auction. I'll have to find out what the 1915 was.

                                It was a beauty. all original paint etc. Check out Paul D'orleans motorcycle blog called "the vintagent" He has a picture of it there. Paul assisted with the auction colour commentary. It's an excellent blog as well
