I stopped yesterday at the AACA museum in Hershey to see what kind of a display our hard working devoted members had done and I was very impressed. In fact it was the best thing happening in that building . On the contrary I thought the car display was a little unimaginative and poorly laid out. Some of the buses were interesting but they take up too much valuable room and there are too many. Too bad a sign couldn't be erected outside to make passers by aware of the motorcycle presence there.

Same thought but you executed
I was out for a ride Saturday morning/afternoon just above Hershey and thought about going since I was so close, but didn't go down there yet. I will very soon. It's difficult on those nice days to do anything but ride. Merlin in Pa.

Hi Ya Barry. Coming from you, that's an honored compliment. Yes, Geoff Ringle really met the challenge and stepped up to the plate to produce this jewel in only 5 weeks time! Look for great things to come from this relationship with the AACA.Originally posted by Barry Brown View PostI stopped yesterday at the AACA museum in Hershey to see what kind of a display our hard working devoted members had done and I was very impressed. AMCA members get in FREE! It doesn't get much better than that! There's some theme changes coming up on our displays. Geoff would be the one to fill us in on that though. We are going to be able to house our physical literature collection on the site, and this well be the base where the on-line library is generated for all of us.Originally posted by Chuck#1848 View PostKevin,
Is there anything planned in the future for AMCA members and the museum?
Also just a thought........maybe we could move just one bus out of there think of how many bikes you could fill in that spot.

I totally understand the joke concept. I just don't think the AMCA/AACA museum relationship is funny. Have you noticed NONE of the questions were ever answered, like why the AMCA didn't just put the literature in the AACA library where it would be safe?? with REAL librarians? Proper storage of valuable documents?Originally posted by Chuck#1848 View Post.......it was meant to be a JOKE you know like........

I have a few thorns in my side over things "purchased" in the past not to mention some unanswered questions by the membership.
Until the time comes when the members decide that WE want a say in the spending and direction of the AMCA it will continue to be the same old same old.............anyway back to my last question to stay on topic of Barry's thread..........SO........does anybody have any pics of the bikes at the AMCA/AACA museum?
How about the torqe four that we own is that there??
