    I didn't think you needed details, just identification, but from memory here goes.

    Rigid axles 1/2 inch in dia.

    Swinging-arm axles 5/8 inch in dia.

    First swinging-arm frames introduced in 1949

    Up until 1949 the axle was the inner race for the wheel bearings.

    Up to 1950, 6 bolts hold on the sprocket cum brake drum.

    1950 to 1954, 5 bolts hold on the sprocket cum brake drum.

    1950 can be either 5 or 6 bolt.

    Full width hub introduced in 1955.

    Please note that we are talking about rear hubs only here.

    If you want me to check my facts please ask, but I am pretty sure they're right. In my younger days I raced these bikes a lot.
