Eric - true to a degree. I recall HD refused to advertise in ER as to try and uphold that eras AMA image of motorcycling
where I disagree with you is the WW2 returning vets were as crazy as any of us. Mid 70’s I would ride to the Indian Come Home Rally’s in the Springfield Ma area and those guys then maybe in their early forties were absolutely wild men . There was truth to the Indian - Harley wars of previous generations as well. IMG_0178.jpeg

I matured as a motorcycle lover in the 1970s in Florida and that was a very different environment than most of America. Dirt bikes were huge here, and fast Asian bikes were popular due to cost, availability, and genuine value (i.e. they were cheap, and of excellent quality). In my riding experience in Florida; I don't recall very much older rider contact because most of those guys were supporting a family and had sowed their wild oats years before I started riding. Florida is a laid-back place (except in the Winter) so most people take it easy when you ride in the hot seasons. My point being, there is the California concept of motorcycling, and the reality of riding in regions of temperate, cold, or hot weather and that has a profound effect on riding appreciation. . . . Bikers adjust to their environment and so do their attitudes.

beats me. i never saw a butt crack in a cycle world or a camel toe in a norton ad. so i dontt know how to respond to whatever it is you are eluding to.

look. as far as i am concerned anyone that wants to can publish anything they want, or dont want, AGE appropriate.
my point was about a guy whom seemed to be patting himself on the back for being such nobel protector of woman sanctity, as we have discussed, and yet runs leggy graphics on his own bike.
