I have had pretty good luck with Coker, except for they wear to Quickly thats the non clinchers. With the clinchers, I have had trouble. Dispite doing all the old timers told me to for propper results. Two blowouts on my Henderson in 4,000 miles of running, after the second one. I got rid of all my clinchers and wont ride them again in any kind of traffic - lots of that here in L.A. The more I get around the more I hear of blow outs with clinchers, several folks have had many flats. Several crashes too, it took the fun out of riding my old machines. I now run drop centers on all and now only worry about the nuts on the road and my stopping distance. A friend and I have been using Cheng Shin Tires for about the last two years on a few machines, 39 Chief and Sport Scout - their dirt cheap and we have been very pleased with both ride and wear of the tires, Tom.
