Harley Speedometer Date?

No, it isn't. It is a '41-'46 type face, and appears to have been a civilian black face/chrome bezel type. See if the case has a code on the back.

47 is a one year only unit.


Notice the slits for the lighting are offset and not centered as earlier units were.

I checked the numbers last evening. 509 DT J5, which I believe is May of 1941
