When did they quit making Package Cars? Are there values in line with sidecars? Thanks Dave

I don't know but I think the King Delivery service in Des Moines bought 2 1956 Panheads with package cars.One used to be at the Davenport races every year.

Package trucks (not cars) ended with rigid frames in '57. There was never a version built with hydraulic brakes for Duo-Glides. Throughout their life they were offered in either a complete unit or a bare chassis in order to accommodate custom uses. Very early types were available with factory contracted bodies, from the Knucklehead era up they were much more basic with about the only option being having a cover or not. They also were available in standard width or wide with a 56" tread width. The wide frames were discontinued after WWII as modern cars got wider and tire tracks did as well. The wide chassis was compatible older two track roads which had virtually ceased to be with more modern vehicles.

As for value like all things it is about condition. Good bodies are quite rare. And other than being a novelty not terribly useful. But yes, about the same as a good sidecar. Mounts are identical.
Here is a picture of a 40MWC project I am hoping to build into a hauler for my WR. M=package truck, W=wide chassis, C=sold as a chassis only, no body.

Yes, the mounts all had that drop in them. Note the location of the spring perches on the frame, they are outboard of where they would be on a sidecar frame allowing even the narrow truck frame to have wider dimensions between the springs than a sidecar. The springs also have more leaves in them for heavier loads. Also not the overload spring assemblies on the lower rear which used straps not shown in that picture. The recoil strap was also a double wide affair unlike the SC type.

I do not know of a separate parts book for package trucks but in the early parts books they are referenced by 'M, MW, MWC' in the description and in the later exploded view parts books they are referenced by 'sidevan' in the description. Either way they are kind of the ugly duckling thing.
