What is the H-D Tool Fit?

Can anyone tell me what this is for or if they ever seen one? Have had it for years and always wondered......decided to post to see what others might know.

Measures: 1-3/4" L
The Allen Head is 0.156" (5/32")

Definitely looks like a oem factory dingle berry remover. They were sold as an grooming accessory. Very rare indeed! We got to get V-Twin MFG to repro these so they can be sold along side the Harley stamp and plate sets this holiday season. Bob L PS: I don't have a clue what it is.

The tool appears to have been originally supplied with a ring for carry on a keychain. I've never seen one but my guess is it is a factory accessory adjustment tool, or an access tool. Like adjusting a windshield or removing a seat. The Bondhus type driver makes it pretty modern, and the size makes it something low torque and easy access.

Robbie, You are right about the ring. I removed it to get to lay so H-D was legible. I though a "key" for a set screw on an accessory.

Bob, That was funny and I never thought it being used that far south! haha

The first time I saw an allen wrench like that, was for use with a recall on the FLT enclosed rear chain housing.

John has it right. Used to remove the allen bolts that hold the metal retainers that fasten rubber boots for the enclosed chain. Anyone that ever worked on those contraptions will not forget the experience.
