    Jefferson

Your right. It is a 1913-14 Jefferson v-twin made in Jefferson, Wi. by the Waverley Manufacturing Co. By this time Perry Mack is gone from Waverley and working most likely for the A.O. Smith Co. on the motorwheel. However, Waverley is still using his motors. Just a note. The old timers in Jefferson refer to the P.E.M. as "Push Every Mile" or Push Every Morning". But they said it was one fast motorcycle for the times. Perry Mack had a very interesting life and I have found evidence that he might have designed the 1st production Harley engine in 1904-05. Now wouldn't that be something!
