Here we have a picture from 1937. From left to right are Joe Pertali, Otto Walker, Hank Syverson, Unknown man, and Stella Forge.
Tha question is who is the unknown man?

Just a thought... but was he a romantic interest for Ms. Forge? Because the non-verbal cues might indicate that as an option....
